Happy New years

Today is the 1st of January, which means it's new years day. Because today is new years day that means it is the first day of 2017, isn't that cool. Did you also know that my birthday is in 17days, can you guess when my birthday is, there will be some options at the bottom of this page. comment what option you think is my birthday. thank you.

    Kia ora Makayla! Happy New Years!! It's great to see you blogging on the first day of the year!

    I don't know if you remember, but you signed up for a special blogging programme at the end of term last year. It is called the Summer Learning Journey. It's all about learning about travel and different cultures and is quite exciting - a lot of students have already started and are really enjoying it.

    Anyways, I'm Mark, a teacher working for the Summer Learning Journey. I was having a browse through the blogs and saw your very fresh one. I hope you join in with us soon. If you decide not to however, I hope you have a great holiday and that you keep up your learning through reading and other activities.

      Kia ora Mark and Makayla,

      Thanks for posting the comment, Mark! We really would love it if you were able to join us on the Summer Learning Journey programme this year, Makayla. There are some pretty cool prizes up for grabs!

      Blogging with us will also help you to maintain your reading and writing skills for school. I know that your teachers would be excited to know that you had done your best to practice before you head back to Pt England in February!

      If you're not able to blog with us, it is no problem at all. We will simply check your blog every few days to see if you've had time to join in!
