Holiday Update | On the bus to go to Wellington

So I'm on the bus now and I'm heading to Wellington. I am going to Wellington with my mum and my cousin. Me and my cousin are going down to Wellington for the holidays but my mum is coming back for work. We are going on the Mana bus, it is nice and comfortable and the chairs are leather. There are also table in between the chairs so that you can put you laptop on the table etc.

I can't wait to get down to Wellington because then I get to see a lot of my family down there, I also get to see some of my friends that are down in Wellington so I'm really excited. I also can't wait to get to do some stuff in Wellington because my aunt planned some things for us to do down there. But then I am so sad to leave my friends because they are like my other family and it is like we're splitting apart.

I can't wait to get down to Wellington. I will post a blog about my trip there and how it was, so stay tuned. :)

WLJ Activity 2 Day 3

I think that New Zealand should be predator free. I think this because innocent farmers have to pay about $35 million dollars a year because of the possum damage. I also think that possums should go back to their natural home where they belong so that they don't cause trouble here in New Zealand. I also think that they shouldn't be in New Zealand because they have been causing a lot of trouble so if they are gone and New Zealand is predator free then there won't be any predator trouble for the government to fix.

WLJ Activity 1 Day 3

The animal to adopt that I have chosen is a Kea. A Kea is a apart of the family Strigopidae, it's scientific name is Nestor notabilis. It is found in forested and alpine regions of the South Island of the New Zealand. They are about 48cm (19 in) long. Most of the Kea is olive-green with a brilliant orange under it's wings. It has large, narrow and curved grey-brown upper beak, and did you know the Kea is the worlds only alpine parrot. The Kea's omnivorous diet includes carrion, but it mostly includes roots, leaves, berries, nectar and insects.

The Kea nests in burrows or crevices among the roots of the tree. I have chosen the Kea because they are mostly known for their intelligence and curiosity, both vital to their survival in a harsh mountain environment. Like did you know that the Kea can solve logical puzzles such as pushing and pulling things in a certain order to get to food, and will work together to archive a certain objective.

WLJ Activity 1 Day 2

I liked visiting Karekare Beach because I liked that the sand was different to Mission Bay's sand, so it looked really appealing and different to see. I also liked the scenery of the sunset because it made the beach look so relaxing and it would be nice to take a long stroll. I also liked the tempreture of the water there when I visited the beach it was so nice and cooling.

WLJ Bonus Activity Day 1

This here is my flag design. What I have done is I have made the base color a black and white stripped pattern so that the three colors I used would be easy to see. Then on the top left corner I have a red square with a white star in it to say how New Zealand has a lot of legends according to the Matariki stories, Papatuanuku and Ranginui stories and more.

WLJ Activity 2 Day 1

These are my 5 favorite activities to do in Auckland:

1. I would like to go to Kelly tarltons in Auckland. So that I can see all the marine life animals.
2. I also want to go and see the Auckland war memorial mueseum.
3. Long great big walks along Mission bay beach in Auckland city.
4. I also want to go to the Auckland zoo so I can see the animals.
5. I would also like to go and visit the Auckland sky tower and bungy jump of there.

WLJ Activity 1 day 1

One interesting fact that I learnt was...

• Most kiwi's are discovering a lot of unusual things and then using it to invent their own thing. E.g Electric fences.

• That maori people voyaged across the sea in their waka's, and now that's the identity of New Zealand. Because they voyaged across the sea and found NZ.

• New Zealand's European pioneers were brave, rugged and independent. But before they could build farms and community's they had to clear the land, A painstaking and also a dangerous activity. Their isolation and exposure to the elements forced the early New Zealanders to become hardy and multi-skilled.

10th day of holidays holiday update 2

After I finished my feed I went to Kmart to get me some clothes and more. Then I went back to my cousins and just sat with them so our food can digest. After that we went back to Timezone to finish off our hour. Then once our hour was done I went home with my mum, aunty and uncle. I had so much fun spending time with my cousins.

2nd day of holidays

As you know it is the 2nd day of school holidays for term 1. Yesterday was good Friday, on good Friday I went out with 2 of my close friends. We went to the movies in Sylvia Park to watch The Fate of the Furious. It was so awesome I thought it was a good action movie. We got popcorn and a frozen drink/slushie. Our movie started at 3:30pm, we got there at 2:50pm just so that we could get our snacks and tickets. Once it hit 3:30pm we were there standing in the line so we could show the lady our tickets. Once we got in I was so excited to see the movie.

Once the movie started I got so excited I nearly dropped my popcorn. My favourite bit about the movie is when Dom Toretto was bad but then he turned good, I liked that bit because he said that he loves his family but he turned bad to keep them safe so he turned bad then back to good again just to keep his family safe. My less favourite part was when he turned bad because then he betrayed his number 1 priority, his family.

After the movie we left and went home, Once we got home we got goodie bags filled with Easter eggs and lollies in it. I was so happy that we got a treat, because it's Easter. Once we got our goodie bags from our parents I started eating them straight away but luckily there was a lot in the bags so I still got a lot left. Plus I still got got my Easter eggs from my family.

I would like to visit Mexico. I would like to visit Mexico because I love the food there, like burritos, tacos and nachos. I would also like to go to Mexico because I think that their resorts looks like so much fun that I want to go there.

My Xmas Presents

Today was the last day of Skids

I also can’t wait until we get to go camping for a day. Not from morning to night, from morning to afternoon. I can’t wait because then we get to have a nap in our tents and play camping games. I’m also excited to go there because I love to camp.
