Extension - KPMG Trip

Today the Yr 7 & 8 Extension group went on a trip to KPMG. Our visit today, we focused on our school topic 'Something In The Water'. We did a range of activities based on the topic. If you don't know what KPMG is, KPMG is one of Manaiakalani's major sponsors. So firstly as we got there, the staff did some introductions. After that we listened to a presentation by Susan and Lucy from Tonkin+Taylor. After that we had morning tea that they provided.

We also had a small walk to 'Sustainable Coastlines'. There we listened to another presentation. This one was based on our coastlines, shores etc. After the presentation we got the opportunity to walk around and check the place. After that we headed back to KPMG. After that we did many activities. After some time it was time to leave and go back to school. Overall my favorite part about today was the amazing food and creating a robot based on our Atua (Maori God). I really enjoyed today and I can't wait to visit again.
