Dargees Celsius

This morning the temperature was 12  degree  Celsius.by 12pm it had increased by 7 dargee so it is now 19 degrees celsius by 6pm the temperature then dropped by 5 degrees 14 degrees Celsius now at 8pm, it had dropped 3 more degrees, so the new temperature is 11 degrees Celsius 

12 +7-5-3=11

Math problems

The cost of strip  a is 10c +10c = 20c because I have 2 smilely faces and 2 sad faces = 20c. One smilely face and one sad face = 10c. The cost of strip b is 3 smilely faces and 3 sad faces = 30c.
